ImageCutter 1.01.20
With
ImageCutter you can prepare a large graphic image for
publication in web. You can split an image into a set of smaller
pieces, which are ideally fit with each other and save them in
various formats such as JPEG, GIF, PNG or BMP. For JPEG images it's
possible to specify image quality.
ImageCutter also
creates HTML file, where all pieces are glued into whole scene. ImageCutter
provides irregular image splitting, so you should not cut your image
into rows and columns as you can divide it to a set of irregular
rectangles. You can save your cut template for later use. You can
also split more than one image using designed cut marking.
Splitting an image into a set of pieces decreases download
time of it because the image is being downloaded through several
threads.
Splitting can also be useful in web design. Often a web page
template is designed as large template image, where company logo,
all navigation buttons, borders and decoration elements are placed
on it. When you designed a template image of web page you need to
extract every individual element from template image and save it as
graphic file. Then you need to create HTML file to consolidate all
small images into a whole scene again. ImageCutter can
ease this process. You need to set only cutting lines and ImageCutter
will do all other steps for you.
ImageCutter is distributed as shareware product
with limited functionality. Unregistered version of the application
cannot save images to JPEG, GIF and PNG files but only to Windows
Bitmap files and it adds copyright watermark to every image, which
is saved by the applications. In registered version all limitations
are omited.
